Stakeholders Engagement

BDMS realizes the importance of treating and respecting all stakeholders through various forms of participation channels of the organization in order to know expectations and be able to consider the appropriate and complete response approach to each stakeholder group by considering relevant factors such as the level of dependency, the level of impact from business activities, the level of influence on the organization's business, etc.,

Stakeholder Analysis Process
BDMS conducts stakeholder analysis in a systematic manner to effectively manage relationships and create shared value with stakeholders. The process follows based on the international AA1000 Stakeholder Engagement Standard (AA1000SES) and consists of the following key steps

1. Stakeholder Identification

2. Stakeholder Prioritization
Assess and categorize stakeholders based on two main criteria:

  • Level of influence on the organization’s decision-making and success

By dividing stakeholders into four groups according to the levels of impact the Company has on the stakeholders, and stakeholders’ influence on the Company and determine the appropriate level and method of engagement.

3. Stakeholder Concerns Analysis
Gather insights into stakeholder expectations and concerns through various methods, including interviews, workshops, surveys, public consultations, and complaint channels. The aim is to ensure an accurate understanding of material issues from each stakeholder group with details of creating participation with important stakeholders.

Sharing Hands – Donation and Supports for Access to Healthcare

The company implements social initiatives under the Sharing Hands approach, focusing on providing resources and assistance to vulnerable and underprivileged groups in communities in order to reduce barriers to accessing healthcare services. These efforts include donations of essential supplies and medical equipment, blood donation activities to support the healthcare system, and fundraising initiatives to provide continuous support for children and youth with limited opportunities, particularly in urgent or crisis situations. Examples of initiatives implemented in 2025 are as follows

Blood Donation Campaign

The company continues to carry out blood donation initiatives as part of the Sharing Hands approach to support the readiness of the healthcare system and expand access to blood supplies for the treatment of emergency patients, patients undergoing surgery, and those requiring ongoing transfusions.

This initiative provides opportunities for medical staff, patients, and the general public to participate in blood donation activities through collaboration with relevant organizations, under strict safety and hygiene standards.

The blood donation initiative not only helps strengthen the national blood reserve within the public health system, but also raises awareness of the importance of sharing and social participation on a broader scale. In addition, it enhances community preparedness in responding to health-related emergency situations.

This initiative reflects the company’s role in supporting a sustainable healthcare system through mobilizing resources from multiple stakeholder groups and creating shared value between the organization and society.

In 2025, the company organized blood donation activities across hospitals and affiliated companies with a total of 5,325 persons and a total donated blood volume of 1,955,150 CC.

Caring Heart – Preventive Healthcare Knowledge for Better Quality of Life

The company implements initiatives under the Caring Heart approach, focusing on promoting preventive healthcare knowledge, first aid, and basic life-saving skills among stakeholders and local communities. These efforts aim to strengthen people’s ability to care for themselves and their families, reduce risks from accidents and health emergencies, and encourage appropriate long-term health behaviors. The company delivers these initiatives through knowledge-sharing and health promotion activities tailored to the context of each area. Examples of initiatives implemented in 2025 are as follows

Basic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Training Initiative: Building a Life-Saving Society

BDMS continuously promotes basic CPR training under the Caring Heart approach to equip the public with essential life-saving knowledge and skills, increase survival opportunities in emergencies, and strengthen community preparedness.  In 2025, the initiative was expanded into a nationwide campaign for schools and universities, focusing on youth as a key group in building a life-saving society. The training covered emergency assessment, CPR techniques, AED usage, and basic first aid, delivered by BDMS doctors, nurses, and medical staff under strict safety standards.

In 2025, BDMS provided CPR training to 205,532 participants, more than double the previous year, with a 100% completion rate and 98.74% satisfaction level. The initiative also contributed THB 6.85 million in Corporate Shared Value (CSV), a 49% year-on-year increase. Under the theme “We can be Hero,” the initiative goes beyond knowledge sharing by fostering compassion, social responsibility, and the confidence to help others in real-life emergencies—supporting stronger communities and a more resilient healthcare system.

The company implements initiatives under the Collaborating Health approach, focusing on building systematic collaboration with partners and stakeholders through the integration of resources, medical expertise, and organizational processes. These efforts aim to expand access to healthcare services and enhance the quality of life of the public, covering preventive health promotion, screening and continuous care for chronic diseases, as well as support for vulnerable groups in society. The company seeks to generate sustainable positive outcomes for communities and society, while strengthening the overall healthcare system. Examples of initiatives implemented in 2025 are as follows

“Connected Vision” Diabetic Eye Screening Program

Bangkok Hospital Chanthaburi developed the “Connected Vision” Diabetic Eye Screening Program to improve access to timely eye screening for diabetes patients in Chanthaburi Province and nearby areas. The program connects community hospitals, screening technology, and health data systems to support early detection, diagnosis, referral, and continuous care.

Through the Community Health Connected Platform, patient screening data, assessment results, and referrals are linked in real time, helping reduce waiting times and prevent patients from being lost to follow-up.

From 2023–2025, the program provided eye screening to more than 14,000 diabetes patients, identified 641 patients with vision abnormalities, and helped reduce diabetes-related vision loss among participating patients to zero cases. The initiative also expanded access to specialized care, improved medical resource efficiency, and generated over THB 21.14 million in additional revenue.

The program demonstrates how healthcare technology and collaboration can reduce preventable blindness, address healthcare access inequality, and create shared value for both communities and the organization.

Partnership for Community Health and Social Well-being

BDMS collaborates with various external charitable organizations to create positive social impact and enhance community well-being. One of its key partnerships is with the Vejdusit Foundation, a non-profit charitable organization, through the Imboon Program and other public benefit initiatives.
